An LED Face Mask as a Gift: What to Know Before You Buy
Short answer: an LED face mask makes a good gift for an adult who likes a skincare routine and would enjoy a ten-minute wind-down at night. It's a poor gift for someone who is pregnant, has epilepsy or light sensitivity, or is under 18. Order early: free standard delivery can take up to three weeks.
We sell an LED mask, the Orelia Luma™, so we're not neutral. We've tried to write this the way we'd want it written anyway.
Who it's a good gift for
- Someone who already enjoys skincare and likes trying new things.
- Someone who has talked about salon facials but finds them expensive or hard to fit in.
- Someone who wants a simple evening routine: ten minutes, lying down, eyes closed.
Who should skip it
- Anyone under 18. We only sell to adults.
- Anyone who is pregnant or breastfeeding, has epilepsy or is sensitive to flashing light, has a diagnosed skin condition, or takes medication that increases light sensitivity. They should speak to their doctor first, which makes it an awkward surprise gift.
- Anyone expecting medical results. This is a consumer skincare device, not a treatment.
Timing for the holidays
- Orders leave our fulfilment partner's warehouse within 1–2 business days.
- Free standard shipping then takes 5–12 business days, so allow up to three weeks.
- Express ($5) takes 2–5 business days after dispatch.
- We ship within the US only. Our holiday order-by dates go in the bar at the top of the site once they're confirmed.
What's in the box
The Orelia Luma™ mask and its cable. It has seven light modes, a 10 or 20 minute timer with automatic shut-off, adjustable straps and no UV. It's corded, so it plugs in during use. Full details are on the product page.

Returns on gifts
Holiday returns: anything ordered between November 1 and December 24, 2026 can be returned until January 15, 2027, or 30 nights after delivery if that's later. So a mask bought in November and opened on Christmas morning still gets a proper try.
To return it, the person who ordered it emails support@tryorelia.com with the order number and we refund the original payment. Signs of normal use are fine. Full details are in our Return Policy.
